By using Chop ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms govern your use of our website, mobile application, and services.
Chop is a food delivery platform connecting customers in Bauchi, Nigeria with local restaurants. We facilitate orders and delivery but are not a restaurant or food producer. Food quality and preparation is solely the responsibility of partner restaurants.
All payments are processed securely via Paystack. Prices are in Nigerian Naira (₦). A service fee of ₦200 and a zone-based delivery fee apply to every order. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment verification.
You may request a cancellation before the restaurant begins preparing your order. Once preparation has started, cancellations are at our discretion. Refunds, where approved, are processed via Paystack and may take 3–5 business days to reflect.
Estimated delivery times are 30–45 minutes from order confirmation. Actual times may vary due to traffic, weather, or restaurant preparation time. We are not liable for delays outside our reasonable control.
You must provide accurate delivery information and ensure someone is available to receive your order. You agree not to misuse the Platform, submit fraudulent orders, or attempt to manipulate prices.
Chop facilitates the delivery of food prepared by third-party restaurants. We cannot guarantee allergen-free preparation. Customers with food allergies are advised to contact the restaurant directly before ordering.
Chop's liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
